There are two ways you can interact with this site. The first is by typing or pasting something into the text field and submitting it. The cut-up engine will output a random re-arrangement of the same words. This is a digital imitation of the Cut-up Method.

Secondly, you can choose to submit your cut-up text to The Document, a constantly evolving repository of text that is re-arranged each time any new input is added to it. A new "title" is dynamically generated after each submission, as are line breaks. Everything is as random as possible.
